【日記】峠は今日も霧氷でした ice on tree again

昨日に引き続き今日も峠は霧氷になっていました。山の上の霧氷は雪雲が山肌を撫でていくことで成長します。ただ標高が低いので太陽の光が当たると、1日で散ってしまうことが多いのですが、雪雲が外輪山に停滞しているため、午前中いっぱいまで残っていました。午後からは気温も上がったからか散ってしまっていました。

Tree was covered by ice again today. Ice on tree grows when clouds covers the mountain. It then will be gone very quickly when the sun shines, but because cloud stayed around the top of the Caldera, ice on tree was left until noon. It has gone in this afternoon when the temperature became warm.
