【日記】オオアカゲラが食べ物を探していました White backed woodpecker

屈斜路湖畔の木々が少しずつ色づき始めた場所もあります。秋がどんどん近づいてきています。そんな中、昼間の気温も過ごしやすいからか、鳥たちが飛び回っていました。その中でもオオアカゲラが立ち枯れたトドマツを結構長い間つついて、食べ物を探していました。動物たちにとっては食べ物が少なくなってくる季節が、もうすぐそこに迫ってきています。

Leaf of tree around Lake Kussharo started turning its color. Autumn is coming close and close. Birds were flying around as temperature is not too high and too low during daytime. Especially white backed woodpecker was pecking a dead todo fir to look for insects to eat. Tough season for animals to find food is coming soon…
