【日記】サンピラーが出ていました Sunpillar appeared

今シーズン初のサンピラーでした。しかも夕方に。藻琴山を登っているときはずっと雪雲が山に貼りついてしまっていて、景色は全く見えず、雪も深すぎて結局途中までしか行けなかったのですが、帰りにちょうど夕陽がきれいだなと景色を見ていたら、昨日の摩周と同じように雨氷が残っていて、キラキラ輝いていたので見ていたら、夕陽が沈む直前になって夕陽からサンピラーが伸びてきました。夕方に見えるほどだったので、相当気温が下がっていたのでしょう。なかなかレアな現象を見ることができました。

I could see sun pillar for the first time in the evening. I went for a walking at Mt. Mokoto but snow cloud covered mountain and I couldn’t see any scenery. I also couldn’t climb up due to too much snow. When I came back from Mt. Mokoto, scenery was beautiful with sunset and I could see rain ice on tree shining like yesterday. While I was looking at the scenery, sun pillar appeared just before the sun set. It may have been really cold as I could see diamonddust in the evening which is very rare to see.
