【日記】網走でタンチョウを見ました Crane at Abashiri

網走に用事があったため、北から渡ってきているオオハクチョウの群れを見ながら車を走らせていました。すると、ハクチョウ以外の大型の鳥が目の端に飛び込んできました。タンチョウです。今までも網走周辺でも見かけていましたが、個体数も多くなってきたからなのか、親子で食べ物をさがして沼地を歩いていました。こういう姿を見ることができるとうれしくなりますよね。

I went to Abashiri for shopping and could see migrating Whopper Swans towards south through car windows. I could also find big birds not swans. They were Japanese crane. I could sometimes find them around Abashiri, but number of crane is increasing now and some cranes were walking at pond looking for food. It’s very enjoyable to see such scenery.
