【日記】クマゲラが顔を出してくれました Black Wood Pecker

一晩で10センチ程度の雪が降ってくれました。まだまだ林床のササは頭を出したままなのですが、やっと一面が白くなってくれました。朝から除雪をしていると、遠くからクマゲラが近づいてくる鳴き声が聞こえました。するとすぐそこの木に止まって、 1時間くらいかな、周囲でずっと木をつついていました。

It snowed about 10cm from last night. Sasa has not been covered by snow yet, but ground became white. When I was clearing snow in the morning, I could hear the voice of black wood pecker from a distance. It then stopped flying just in front of me and stayed around for about 1 hour.
