【日記】オオハクチョウが飛んでいました Whooper Swans were flying

冬が近づくとやってくるオオハクチョウが、飛んでいる様子や屈斜路湖に浮かんでいる姿を数日前から目撃はしていましたが、なかなか撮影するチャンスが無く、夕方やっと撮影できました。北海道は台風の直撃を免れたものの、雨や風は午前中いっぱい吹いていました。午後からやっと晴れ間が見えてきたので、夕陽を見ていると、ほんのり夕焼けた雲の合間を縫うようにオオハクチョウが飛んでいました。

I could hear the voice of whooper swan, migrating here for staying in winter and see them at Lake Kussharo from few days ago, but I haven’t had a chance to take photo of them. I then finally did it in this evening. Although we didn’t have a direct attack of the big typhoon, it was windy and raining until noon. The sun came out between clouds in the afternoon, so I went out to see sunset. Whooper swans were flying as they had waited for sunshine.
