【日記】夕方雲海になっていました sea of clouds in the evening

早朝に雲海になることはよくありますが、夕方から雲海になることはなかなかありません。たまたま15時頃、津別峠のライブカメラを見ていると、雲海になっていたので、せっかくだからと出かけてきました。摩周湖は雲海の中に沈み、屈斜路カルデラがすっぽり埋まるほどの雲海になっていました。明日の朝まで天気は安定していそうなので、明日の雲海も楽しみですね。

We can often see Sea of clouds in the early morning, but very rare in the evening. I happened to watch Tsubetsu pass live camera at 3pm showing sea of clouds, so I went to Tsubetsu pass. Lake Mashu was totally covered by the mist, but I could see sea of clouds filling Kussharo caldera. As weather seems calm until tomorrow morning, I’m looking forwards to sea clouds tomorrow again.
