【日記】藻琴山では初雪が降りました It first snowed at Mt.mokoto

昨晩降り続いていた雨も止み、朝起きたら、屈斜路カルデラ外輪山がついに雪化粧していました。峠では雪だったようです。この時期はまだ昼間の気温が高いため、降った雪はすぐに融けてしまいます。気づくのが遅れてしまったため、すでにだいぶ融けてきていましたが、まだ藻琴山頂上は白かったので、さっそく登ってきました。足元は白いのに、奥の景色はまだ秋というなかなか見られない景色を見ることができました。これから少しずつ降っては融けてを繰り返しながら、12月末の根雪へと近づいていきます。

Raining from last night stopped in the morning. When I got up, I could see Kussharo caldera mountain range covered by snow. It seemed snowing last night on the mountains. Snow quickly melts due to high temperature in this season. As I realised late this morning, snow already started melting but still there at the top of Mt. Mokoto, I decided to climb Mt. Mokoto. It’s white just in front of me but scenery was still Autumn which we cannot see often. It will snow and melt and snow world will be gradually coming.
