【日記】摩周はまた霧氷でした ice on tree at Mashu caldera

雪は降らない割に、天気はあまり芳しくなく、どんよりとした雲が漂っていました。ただ、風も強いので時折雲の切れ間から太陽の光が差し込む瞬間もありました。雪が少ないので、ササの頭が一面に飛び出してしまっていますが、そのお陰で木々に着いた霧氷が浮き立って見えます。それでもやはりもうちょっと降ってほしいところです。

It was cloudy all day today without any snow… However, as wind blows strongly, the sun shines between clouds sometimes. Because we have small amount of snow this year, Sasa covers the ground, but that’s why we can see ice on tree clearly in the green background. But still we want more snow…
