【日記】藻琴山に登ってきました Mt. Mokoto Trail

昨日とは打って変わっていい天気でした。午前中は太陽もずっと出てくれていて、樹氷の森の中を歩くことができました。ただこういう日は午後一くらいから雪が降ってくるので、頂上付近に到着した時にはガスが入り始めていたものの、まだ屈斜路湖の全景を見下ろすことができました。その後、案の定雪が降り始めていましたが、それはそれで、きれいな雰囲気のダケカンバ林を歩いてくることができました。

It was so fine day very different from yesterday. We could see the sun in the morning and walk in the forest of ice on tree. I knew it would start snowing from the afternoon in such a morning. When we arrived at the summit of Mt. Mokoto, we could still see Lake Kussharo but it started to be misty. It then started snowing on the way back. Yet, we could walk in the forest of Erman’s birch with snowing making scenery very beautiful.
