早朝雌阿寒岳の登山口から頂上を見上げると、他のエリアは天気がいいのに、山の上だけがピンポイントで雲に覆われていました。天気はよくなる予報だったので、ゆっくり登っていくと、少しずつ雲が取れてきてくれたので、よかったなぁと思っていると、上の方が真っ白ではないですか…。雲に覆われていて強風だったので、小さなエビのしっぽがそこら中に着氷していました。太陽が出てくるとどんどん解けていったものの、頂上付近は強風で立っているのもやっとでした。登山するときは準備がとても大切ですね。
When I looked up from the entrance of Mt.Meakan in this morning, only the top of Mt. Meakan was covered by the clouds, not any other area. Weather would be better according to the forecast, we started climbing slowly. Clouds then started to disappear, so I thought it was a good timing, but I was surprised the top became white… It was covered by clouds being windy, top was icing everywhere. As the sun started shining, ice melt but it was still so windy to stand very hard at the top. I felt it is very important to prepare gears for climbing.
